Collections

These are photos that have not yet or may never find their way into a specific project (which are most of my images). I have them organized by the type of photography I was practicing at the time because I like to spend time with one technology for a few months, and see how that informs how I photograph, what I photograph, etc. It also nicely punctuates different periods in my life.

Other Media

I enjoy going outside of photography, both to collaborate and explore other types of expression. I am including work in layout design, video, radio, and finally some writing samples.

Videography in particular is a passion of mine, and is an increasingly large part of my art. The linked video was made in collaboration with drama students, with an original score by friend, collaborator, and composer Ian Wallace. The linked radio show was a yearlong project that Lily Falk and I undertook to discuss research projects with students across different departments at Mount Allison. The linked document to the right was created for a biogeography survey report.

Published writing samples: Looking back for the year ahead and What does Mountie Pride mean to you?

This is a collaborative art piece between actors, videographer, singer, and composer. Improvised performances based loosely around class movement exercises. For more music by Ian Wallace go to ianwallacemusic.com For photography by Adrian go to adriankiva.com
