The Living Road

This exhibit was the culmination of three years of black and white, medium-format photography, mostly of nature and my friends and family. I exhibited 21 silver-gelatin prints, installed in Sackville's historic Cranewood on Main

I was interested in putting up images that talked about change, and moving through life. You can read my artist statement above. This has been my largest project yet, and it felt deeply rewarding to be able to represent a complete vision, to take a project to its end to the extent of my ability. I thank Thaddeus Holownia for his mentorship, and Sarah Poirier, manager of Cranewood, for her openness to letting an artist into that beautiful space and for being so helpful/kind/accommodating. Finally, the title is a tribute to Lhasa, who understood/felt these themes so well.
